If you are trying to burn off that post pregnancy weight, or getting fit now so it will be easier to bounce back after you have your baby, you've come to the right place. Over the past few years, more and more mothers have come to me asking for my help to shift that post pregnancy weight. After all, it is a fact that you will put on around 10-15 kilos over the course of your pregnancy, and the quicker you can strip that after the birth the better.
Many mothers can fall into depression once their child is born. While pregnant the stomach was full, firm and round. Afterwards, it has more like a deflated beach ball resemblance. But not to worry. This is normal, and after some specifically designed post natal exercises, we can strengthen and tone the core and have you back to your pre-pregnancy weight.
The Redlands Fit Mums Program was designed with a few things in mind: As I've trained new mums over the years, I've developed a list of the biggest problems mums see in the mirror post pregnancy such as:
- the increased waist line
- excess 'flab'
- wider hips, bum and thighs
- chicken wing arms
- no tone.
So I developed the Redlands Fit Mums Program to tackle these problems head on to:
- decrease your waist line so you can fit back into your old jeans
- trim the excess belly flab so there's no concern with a 'muffin top'
- slim down your hips, butt and thighs to slip into a nice new dress
- make tuck shop arms disappear
- and of course tone up.

No-one will believe you were pregnant!
But the Redlands Fit Mums Program isn't just targeted at what new mums see in the mirror! Stress, depression and the energy it takes to keep up with the demands of motherhood were huge factors in developing exactly what this program includes. Many mothers just like you, found they:
- had a lack of energy
- struggled to chase their crawling babies
- struggled to pick up their growing child
- developed a sore back.
So for you to jump these hurdles a very specific range of post natal exercises have been chosen and developed to:
- give you more energy through the day to keep up with the kids
- strengthen your arms and legs to play and lift your baby
- teach you correct lifting technique to protect your lower back
- strengthen your lower back to avoid injuries in the future and of course, to
- strengthen the core and pelvic floor muscles!
Other than the post-natal exercise program and the nutrition help to get you back to eating for one again, there is one more element to the Redlands Fit Mums Program.
Some of the biggest barriers to trimming the baby belly and dropping the excess post pregnancy weight that most mothers encounter, are:
- lack of support
- lack of confidence
- lack of 'me' time
- becoming bored with the same four walls.
So after training and chatting with mums one-on-one for years I have found that what they really enjoyed was chatting to the other mums who had been through the same issues or were going through those same issues at the same time. The Redlands Fit Mums Program was the answer. This group setting:
- surrounds you with understanding mothers
- has mums who are going through the same issues as you and can relate with you
- has mums who have gone through it before and who want to share their thoughts
- lets you enjoy a social outing while getting fit and trimming and toning as well (instead of chatting over lattes and a whole packet of Tim-Tams which seems to be a favourites!)
- gives you back some 'me' time.
